You have no right to prtection with a restraining order.
No writing or distributing P2P software
Cable companies don't have to share their lines with third party companies
You have no right to keep your house if the government wants it.
Reporters can't have confidential sources anymore.
Maybe if we ask the Queen of England very nicely they will take the colonies and the rest of this screwed up country back under the fold.

Once again I am shown the difference between men and women. Men view things in a overall mental picture. Women see the first picture and the final picture.
Let me give an example here:
The women sees the new living room, where the furniture is, how the curtain hangs. See sees all the details that are part of the finished product. The man sees having to haul all of the old furniture out. Having to demo the walls. He also sees having to installl the new wall and rewire the outlets. Hang the drywall. Mud, sand, and paint the drywall. Move all of the new furniture in.
While the woman doesn't see all the details that go into her final vision of the room, the man doesn't see all the minor details of the final product.
The woman sees A the old room and B the new room.
The man sees everything inbetween A and B.While this may seem sexist and stereotyping in it's nature. I have seen example of it over and over again.

Today was a very downer day. I had to make a court appearence for when a woman hit my parked company van. There are a lot more details that would make this story a lot more interesting but I don't think it would be wise to tell them right now. I will say this, I understand why people don't want to report crimes and don't want to be involved in the system. I will give a bit of an explanation on this. [more]

Well it looks like I have to become the asshole of the universe again. For some ridiculous stuff. I have several pictures on the webpage that others in the internet universe like. I think that is wonderful. Some of these people use the pictures on their websites. I think that is wonderful. They do that by directly linking to them on my website. This is known as hotlinking. That is not so wonderful.
First off it eats up my bandwidth and while I have a nice account with 34sp.com. I didn't win the lottery. I really don't feel like paying to host images on your website.
Second the rendering time for a hotlinked image is much longer than if you host it directly on your site.
Third if there are server or router issues you site will now have no image and look like crap because it is trying to access something that may be in trouble.
I have put up a little note that is very small that will appear if you try to hotlink to my page. Do yourself a favor if you want an image here. Download it save it and upload it to your site. That way you have it.
Hell it's what I did most of these images.

While I try to avoid dealing with Microsoft as much as possible. I have some friends who still use it. I like my friends and they haven't turned me into the neighborhood computer repair man. So when they do ask me to help them fix an issue it's usually means they have tried at least some other avenue.
I received a call from my friend Jimi saying his step daughter's new laptop wasn't even booting. The laptop wasn't even 3 weeks old. So I showed up and and sure enough it was at that stage where all it did was boot to the blue screen screaming about bad boot sectors. I tried some recovery stuff that didn't work at all. I couldn't even get a good read on the contents of the C: .
So with all of Dell's recovery disks I went to do a reinstall of the system. The reinstall didn't go properly the first time and I did it again. That time it appeared to take. Then I went to connect it to the network and guess what the drivers for any of the ethernet stuff haven't been recognized. So I try to get the drivers of the dell CD and they don't appear to be on any of the CDs.
I did a reinstall with it connected to the router and again no go. So I figured I would give Dell a call.
I have their technical support number and a express service code. Dell on the past use to be pretty quick about ansering their phones and their commericals make it seem like answering your call is very important to them.Guess what it's a LIE!
Dell no longer cares about you once they have made the sale. You can get a live salesman in 10 seconds, but a technician, well I hope you have a good book to read. Perhaps War and Peace.
I sat on hold for over two hours before I gave up.
It's kinda sad. I use to like Dell.
