My wife had a rat digging up the seeds and seedlings in her garden. This was understandably making her quite upset. She took a live catch rat trap and actually caught the rat. Now the idea was to be able take the rat to a nice field very far away from the house. It was a nice idea.
My wife went over a bump that the trap turned over and the doors opened. The rat ran free inside the car. So my wife came home quite distraught. She reset the trap in the car that didn't work. So she left the passenger door open for several hours in the hope that it would run out.
I told her it will either run out or she will find it when it dies or chews all the wires up in the car. Now my wife is not happy with me.

Look if I am going to criticize the goose I am going to criticize the gander. While the audience was booing McCain's campaign tactics and it wasn't the venom laced reaction that the McCain and I am all for free speech. This doesn't make the Obama followers look much better. Depressing. I mean if your going to boo Obama do because he caved on the FISA compromise. Not because he mentioned McCain's tactics.

So McCain is at his own rally and gets booed because his own base can't fathom the idea that Obama is a decent man.
These are the people that give Republicans a bad name. Yeah these people freak me out. I worry they may be off their medication and armed.McCain own base is so insidious that they will resort to negative attitudes against their own candidate when he doesn't agree with their fringe point of view. I could go on a long vent here. However I assume the point is pretty clear.

Usually when I wake up I check the news stories posted on digg or reddit. This morning two stories that I had heard on the radio over different times but never really placed any commonality to. http://tinyurl.com/4pnt4g and http://tinyurl.com/44uzsh.
Now I have friends who are republicans. I even know a few of the Neo Con types. The problem is that the Neo Cons give the republicans a bad name. And of course they are the ones that get all the publicity. I understand that republicans like having a certain amount of order in lives and society. I understand they feel that organization helps promote a stable society. I even myself agree with fiscal responsibility. Living in debt is bad. And if you are not living in poverty you should exercise some responsibility. However don't sit there and say that those who are poor are irresponsible. There are plenty of irresponsible rich people. Lehamn Bros. comes to mind.
Now here is where my beef comes up. If you are going to say that Magic Johnson faked his illness. You are a moron. If you are going to scream holler or chant something to the effect of traitor and bomb them in regards to the other presidential candidate you are moron. Who should be placed in jail because you are not only stupid you are dangerous. Ignorance and a stomach full of hate means you need a serious time out in jail.
Listen you want to believe the Earth is 6,000 years old you are also a moron. You don't deserve jail you deserve ridicule. You want to espouse ignorance like it was fact you should be picked on and mocked. Free speech doesn't mean we can't make fun of you. I have a person on my space who posts every republican talking point like it was gospel. The person may have good intentions and believe what they are being told but they show no ability to actually think for themselves beyond the overt appearance of simple logic that inevitably shows itself to be wrong.
You want to believe in your candidate that is fine. You want to believe in their lies not so fine. And there are no saints in either party but this year the venom coming from the right is enough to make me not want to get anywhere near them. Once again I am voting for the lesser of two evils. Usually that is down to a few issues. This time even though I don't agree with all of the actions of the candidate on the left. They are far far less provocative than the radical fringe embraced by the right.
So the Neo Cons can scream traitor, bomb them, and kill. Scream about his association with a former member of the weather underground. Rant about his association with Terrence Bean. Get your panties in a wad about Acorn. It just shows how ignorant Neo Cons are. And how really doing real research is beyond your current abilities. And you wonder why of students are coming out with such poor educations. Look at yourself.
Maybe someday you will learn to do real research. The truth will set you free, but it might be after you have spent a few years in jail for threating someone's life.

Well the Dow closed below 8000.
And while having my own 976 number would be great and make me a fortune. It would also be complete BS. The market is dropping because the financial situation has been riding on fantasy for years and not reality. Well reality came knocking and brought some thick neck goons with it. Time to pay the piper.
Now I am sure you are all asking is the market going to drop below 8000. Well actually today for a little while it did drop below 8000. So sure it could. However I don't expect this freefall to continue like it has been. It will continue to stay low but I doubt it will hit below 7000.
So now what? Scrounge every couch cushion you have. If you have any extra cash, it is time to buy. Buy and hold on. You will need to be patient for about 5-10 years. But there is money to be made.

So I get into a discussion with another tree hugging hippie who give liberals a bad name.
This time it was that mercury in chicken feed was at dangerously high levels from the fish meal processed in the feed.
I am skeptic first. So I said I don't think so. And of course because I am not willing to buy the PETA dribble right off the back. I am suppose to be the one who is stupid and uninformed. Okay uninformed maybe but I can at least look for some real research.Well here are a couple of things. Fish meal is not a majority item in poultry feed and and only the commercial farms really use poultry feed that has fish meal in it and it is usually less than 25% of the total ingredients. And then the levels of mercury are so low that they don't pose much of a threat.
Of course if you are still concerned after that yu can do what I do. Buy free range or organic fed chickens. Then you don't have to worry.
