Well I had an incident with the bees that caused soem real concern. You can read it here. After dealing with that incident. The inspector came by the next day. My bees behaved. I passed my inspection I now have semi legit bees.
Hive #1 now has 1 deep and 3 mediums on it just like number 2 hive. Hive number 2 is ready for another extraction. If I get my usual out of this it means I will have gotten 54 lbs of honey in 8 weeks out of this hive. I have been getting 18 lbs everytime. Which is a gallon and a half of raw honey.
This is going very well. I will not add any more boxes to the hive. If I have to I will start doing splits from this stage. I intend to rotate the hive boxes and get rid of the deeps and I am going to start cutting down to 9 frames per box. 10 frames fully loaded is heavy.
