I posted a very small note on ChuckTips. It was about an error I was receiving with KDE. The error was "Can't get own host name. Your system is severely misconfigured." The article can be read here

I made a minor update to the dhcp artcle in the section pertaining to the kernel rebuild. This takes about two steps out. I have done it a couple of times and it works fine. The article is here.
