Okay the KVM project. My intentions what I have done and what I need to do.

First and foremost the reason for wanting the KVM schematics was so I could find a way to build a dual monitor KVM. I realize that the cheap rotary switch style one probably is just a bit to basic for what I want to do. I recently came across a APEX KVM. And I have been tracing the circuits out on the video card portion of the KVM. I have been doing them in CAD format. Trying to find a way to post CAD drawings to the web is a bit difficult. The video board of the KVM is multilayered and I have been doing the schematics based on the layers. So I would have to post about 6 rather large pictures on the site and then you would have to stack each layer at home that seemed like a bad idea. I could just zip up the CAD files and make them avaliable. However if you are running a Linux or FreeBSD box you can't read .cad files. So I am kinda stuck.

I have most of the pathways worked out. The componets however I am still working on. And how things actually function is still in the discovery stage. I realize I could probably do this a lot easier but I don't think I would gain any of the knowledge I want with this.
