I recently was trying to do some customizing to Greymatter. What I did really screwed up these pages for the past week or so. It also sent the server I am on at 34sp into overdrive. It is kinda of wild knowing that a bad perl or cgi script can hog all of the resources. Fortunatly the admins at 34sp are very cool and actuallly babysat me through finding what was causing the problem. Despite the fact that it was midnight in England. Thanks to Ian for sitting up with me.

Also I know Greymatter is out of date and not the latest and greatest for blogging software. It is just that everything else seems to be based on PHP, and I really can't stand PHP. At least Greymatter is based on Perl.

I am not the biggest fan of the TSA. I don't think they really make a difference in my safety and just manage to waste my time. For the most part rules that were in existance long before the 9/11 disaster stilll weren't being enforced. The TSA also is now determined to protect you from those deadly disposable lighter. [more]
